Owner/Driver: Jerry Sorrentino
Member: APBA, POPRA, NWSRA, USAWSA
In only his first 3 years in powerboat racing, Jerry Sorrentino has
already made quite a name for himself. First came Rookie of the Year
honors in 1997. Then in 1998 he became National Champion. This past
season, he drove his boat to become the World Champion and set the
new world kilo record for the first offshore "A" boat to ever go over 100
mph. Jerry shattered the record in Long Beach racing to 102 mph. No
other team owner/driver in recent history has shown that level of dedication and tenacity. Many drivers race for
years and never win the title. Getting his start in OFFSHORE in 1994, Jerry placed second at the famed Catalina Ski Race in Long Beach, CA, taking second place in the highly competitive Men's Open class in his first time out. Equally committed to the sport's future, Jerry is also a board member of the Pacific Offshore Power Boat Racing Association.
Just as successful off the water, Jerry is the owner of a structural concrete construction company based in Los Angeles.

Throttleman/Crew Chief: Norm Teague
Member: APBA, POPRA, NSWSBA
Considered one of the best set-up men in the sport, Norm Teague built
the naturally aspirated engine that propels In-Mocean and handled the
impeccable rigging and installation. A true living legend in OFFSHORE
powerboat racing, Norm earned more than 126 career checkered flags
as part of the Powerboat Magazine Special racing team. In addition to
being instrumental in all the team's OFFSHORE wins, Norm set up the boats for their successful endurance record attempts, which included
eclipsing the San Francisco-to-Los Angeles mark by more than an hour. The record still stands today. Among the many firsts in Norm's career was his ability to make turbocharged engines work in a raceboat. A former Technical Editor for
Powerboat magazine, Norm is also a world champion radio-controlled boat and airplane racer.
